New Gallery and Classroom at the Booker T

With many thanks to the Rush County Community Foundation, there is a new gallery space upstairs at the Booker T Building! Lighting and a hanging system for displaying up to 20 works has been installed. Look for news about submissions for the first showing in the next few months.

Downstairs, the classroom space has new flooring. Doesn't it look great?! We are working out the details to begin offering workshops. Are you an instructor that would like to teach, or a student interested in a particular subject? Let us know at imaginenationrush@gmail.com.

We're loving this great artwork of our building's namesake, Booker T. Washington. When you walk in the front door and look up the stairs, he's right there watching over everything. The building's history is an important part of our own history. We are working on a display to honor its heritage. If you'd like to be involved, email us.

You don't have to be artistic to get involved. Check out the many different opportunities available and decide where you'd like to make a difference.
